There's no boring subject, just bored photographer
A couple of days ago my (very smart&talented - www.scaffad.com) friend, Lach called me as he needed a photographer for one of his project his working on. Who doesn't like to work with friends, who are fun and creative??
So I woke up at 6am today and drove out to far far away to photograph a school. :)
Well.. I'm sure every photographer's nightmare to photograph big subjects in shade..
And there was no way to photograph the building any other time of the day as the light conditions were best early morning. So I tried to make the most out of it and even if my fav shots are not of the building itself, there were some other fun stuff to photograph :)
How easy to shot something beautiful, something pretty, something well lit?
But where's the fun, the challange in it?
If anybody can do what you do, there's nothing special about your work.
And yes, I stuffed up a lot of shots, but how else I could have got the ones I am happy with? Pushing your limits takes you closer to your goals, so never think that your subject is boring when you get commissioned for a job! Just try to find that angle, those colours, something in the background/foreground, that you can grab and use to create something you are satisfied with. :)
Above my favs from today..
